Hi Been getting some bans on my web server where the source is in the local NZ range. Was wondering if it was worth forwarding these on to the the abuse@ addresses or do most ISPs just ignore them due to high volume of spam they get? Thanks -- Regards Scott Newton

Hi Folks, I'm trying to help out a customer in the Pacific understand what a developed market traffic profile looks like. In particular I'm looking for a list of your top 20 ASNs by traffic volume. Big bonus if you can attach percentages to those ASNs. If any of you can share any rough detail it would be much appreciated. Anything's fine - attributable, non-attributable, fallen off the back of a truck, apocryphal tales from a late night whisky session, whatever. Thanks, Jon

Hi all, Just a quick note to say that yesterday was The Free Software Mirror Group's fourth birthday (we think). Which is quite incredible. I've said it before but I'd like to say it again: thank you to all the support and aroha we've received from the NZ operator community to facilitate the work we've been doing. NZ Working From Home Traffic Profile

With lots of New Zealanders and other countries citizens are working from home and the jump in residential Broadband traffic, I am interested in the NZ operators observations. There are few published charts in the NZ Herald article from Chorus and UFF showing phenomenal increase in traffic. In my opinion this is an event that we should document and learn from. I have few questions 1) The jump in residential day time peak ~2PM , is it equal to a drop in business daytime peak ? 2) How do you explain the jump in night time peak (probably people are not going out and are now streaming at home?
