Dear Colleague, This is to notify you that one or more objects in which you are designated for notification have been modified in the NZRR routing registry database. These objects are used to configure the various NZIX route servers (http://nzix.net/) so you can expect the relevant servers to be reloaded in the near future. The reloading of the servers is staggered over a period of time so that if you are peering with both servers at an exchange, you can maintain at least one BGP session at all times and consequently a full set of routes. Windows 2008 R2 and IPv6

While reading the pre-beta documentation for Windows 2008 R2 I came across the following paragraphs under the section entitled "Simplified Remote Connectivity for Corporate Computers": "In order to benefit from DirectAccess, you must be able to access the resources within your intranet by using IPv6. If your organization has an IPv6 routable infrastructure, no IPv6 translation is required. If you have resources that only have IPv4 addressing, you will need to provide IPv6-to-IPv4 transition services." Caching peer-to-peer traffic: a done thing?

I'm updating my labnotes for my network management paper regarding the use of proxy caches, and previously I have pointed to the possibility of caching peer-to-peer traffic as shown in the paper Deconstructing the Kazaa Network http://portal.acm.org/citation.cfm?coll=GUIDE&dl=GUIDE&id=837393 I would like to know whether or not caching of peer-to-peer is something that ISPs actually do today, and if not why not.
