Dear Colleague, This is to notify you that one or more objects in which you are designated for notification have been modified in the NZRR routing registry database. These objects are used to configure the various NZIX route servers (http://nzix.net/) so you can expect the relevant servers to be reloaded in the near future. The reloading of the servers is staggered over a period of time so that if you are peering with both servers at an exchange, you can maintain at least one BGP session at all times and consequently a full set of routes. Continued problems with xtra email

Can anyone help? Since Xtra changed over its email service to Yahoo! I have had problems. I have a server (outside of the Xtra network) that handles email for around 50 domains. Many of these are collection points that forward to client recipients with @xtra.co.nz addresses. Due to the large volume of email traffic sending to the xtra.co.nz domain, the Yahoo servers are now blocking/grey-listing my server. I have filled out the forms on the Yahoo website and have spoken to Xtra. However, I have had no response from Yahoo and Xtra doesn't seem to understand or appreciate the issue. Is anyone else in a similar situation? Had similar issues? Does anyone know a solution? The response from the Yahoo servers is '451 Message temporarily deferred' (meaning Yahoo first denies the initial attempt and waits for a re-try). However, none of the re-tries is accepted and the message eventually expires. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers, Mike Densem mike(a)massive.co.nz

They rejected the emails to mailman unsubscribed the addresses. Most of the addresses removed were hosted by Orcon. If anyone sees Colin Palmer around can they nudge him ( "nudge" means "/msg him" NOT "Wake him up at 1am" ) to have a look at this since I don't have his contact details. Dual boot lenny and etch on one HD?

Hi There, We have installed lenny on sda1. Once sorted, i have debootstrap'ed etch onto sda3, with sda2 being the swap. So ive then added the last line to /boot/grub/menu.lst on sda1 # lenny title Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.21-2-686 root (hd0,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.21-2-686 root=/dev/sda1 ro quiet initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.21-2-686 savedefault title Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.21-2-686 (single-user mode) root (hd0,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.21-2-686 root=/dev/sda1 ro quiet single initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.21-2-686 savedefault #etch title Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.18-5-686 (etch) root (hd3,0) kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.18-5-686 root=/dev/sda3 ro quiet initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.18-5-686 savedefault But im getting "Selected disk does not exist.. should this be (hd0,3)? or have i got this COMPLETLY wrong?
