What you need, Joe, is an "open beer relay", which automatically forwards unwanted beer to other beer consumption nodes within reach as defined by some reasonable nearness algorithm.
Something along the lines of a Smurf amplifier might be good. Joe gets a beer with my name as the source address and he gets me lots in return - but I know Joe wouldn't support this!
I'm pretty sure that in cases where the network has an excess of beer then RFC5150 should be applied. I've attached a copy for your reference. -- ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Dean Pemberton Ph: +61-3-9656-7000 Regional Technical Specialist Asia-Pacific Fx: +61-3-9656-7006 Ascend Communications, Inc Mb: +61-419-117-321 Lvl 38, ANZ Tower, 55 Collins St Melbourne,Australia mailto:deanp(a)ascend.com.au -----------------------------------------------------------------------
