Hello, my name is Martin and i am new in the list. I'm trying to put on an access server cisco as5200 with support 56kbps. I probed three IOS version (11-3.9T, 11-3-9A and 12.0.1) with different modems (mica) firmwares (2.3.1.0, 2.6.2.0, 2.7.2.0) in differents combinations. The as works fine one or two days, after thats it begin to give busy tone (it is connected to E1) and i need to restarted. Some one could work fine with this servers ??. How ??. I need 56kpbs, callback and authenticate over a radius server, my configuration works fine, but the AS works horrible ! Thanks.-

1) you do realise this is a _New Zealand_ Network operators group right?
but the AS works horrible !
2) you've hit the nail on the head. Ditch the crappy Cisco dial in servers and get some Lucent gear (A Max6000 should do what you want). Cisco should stick to routers. I use entirely Cisco access servers with excellent results. -----Original Message----- From: owner-nznog(a)list.waikato.ac.nz [mailto:owner-nznog(a)list.waikato.ac.nz]On Behalf Of Chris Rigby Sent: Tuesday, 5 December 2000 9:24 a.m. To: Mendez Martin Cc: 'nznog(a)list.waikato.ac.nz' Subject: Re: problems with as5200
