International problems
Hi all Anybody experiencing International connection problems at the moment? Working fine for me. Any more information? Traceroutes? Wheres it stop? What provider are you actually with? Can you resolve DNS names? You see the obvious problem with posting something as generic as the above to somewhere like NZNOG ;-) FTR, TelstraClear apparently had some DoS or similiar issues which ground their international links to a halt yesterday, although today seems Ok thus far. We saw no issues at all on the TelstraClear side. I wonder if your bgp didn't fail over correctly with the GG outage ?

Hi Tony
I think our problem with Telstra was with the return traffic. i.e Some
traffic went out via Telstra but with a return path via Global Gateway

Yeah, we are experiencing the same problem. We have been advised by AAPT
that they have lost their International capacity. Our other provider is not
having any issues, so we have moved all our traffic to this other provider.
