Maybe OT: Traffic Magnet: Spam or what?
People most likely have come across this in the past, but HOW to you get off "TrafficMagnet" stupid lists?? I have a number of web sites, and I get about 2-3 Emails from them per week from "Christine Hall " which is very anoying. Each time for the last 6 months I have emailed them back saying "remove me please, I am not interested in your service" , but I still keep getting them. Do you think a Physical Registered Letter Send to them in the mail from a Lawyer asking them to stop work? Has anyone else had trouble with this "Company" in the past. PS: I know I can just make a procmail/outlook express rule to delete them, but I don't want to get them in the first place. Besides, they are in the US which makes things more difficult. Has anyone else had trouble with this "Company" in the past. Nope I block email from them. 1. I don't like people forging my email address (postmaster(a)ihug) 2. 95% of the time the spamming address is bogus or stolen so it just ends up stuck in the mail queues (with postmaster getting the bounces and warning messages) or flooding some innocent party. 3. It gets postmaster on Spam lists. -- Simon Lyall. | Newsmaster | Work: simon.lyall(a)ihug.co.nz Senior Network/System Admin | Postmaster | Home: simon(a)darkmere.gen.nz ihug, Auckland, NZ | Asst Doorman | Web: http://www.darkmere.gen.nz - To unsubscribe from nznog, send email to majordomo(a)list.waikato.ac.nz where the body of your message reads: unsubscribe nznog
