GeoLocation Issues
by Peter Ellingham | Evolution Wireless 02 May '22

02 May '22

Hi Team, We have recently acquired a new subnet(202.73.28.0/23) and have updated all of the usual Geolocation providers, but we are still experiencing issues with Disney+, Lotto and Trade Me. Does anyone have any recommendations around who else we could contact to get these updated? I have attempted to contact the sites directly with no progress over the past couple of weeks. Kind Regards, Peter Ellingham Network Engineer Evolution Wireless Ltd t: 0800 4 WIRELESS e: peter(a)ew.net.nz w: https://www.ewc.co.nz [cid:a0c6b0fa-866f-40ef-a621-9c79f8f46fe8] The content of this email is confidential and intended for the recipient specified in this message only. 2degrees/Vocus NZ peering
by Nate Lewis 28 Apr '22

28 Apr '22

Anyone on this list have any contact within Vocus/2degrees? Have some performance issues from a home fibre connection with 2degrees to a Vocus-advertised subnet and noticed after carrying out a traceroute that we're being routed via Cogent/PCCW Singapore. Cheers, Nate Lewis

There are a few talks not (yet) on that list, but should give you a good picture of the talks you’ll see. The programme schedule will be published closer to the conference. Registrations are progressing really well - thanks to all who’ve registered so far. If you’re planning to come to NZNOG 2022, please remember to register. Start here: http://www.nznog.org/nznog-2022 <http://www.nznog.org/nznog-2022> For those unable to attend, NZNOG 2022 will (as always) be available via streaming - but of course the best experience will be in person. Hi, We at the National Library will soon begin our 2022 New Zealand domain crawl. As in previous years, the crawl is being run by Internet Archive, and some of you may soon see the crawlers as IA go through their initial setup with some test crawls. The user agent string their crawlers will be using is: NLNZ_IAHarvester2022 For more information on our domain crawls please see http://natlib.govt.nz/publishers-and-authors/web-harvesting/domain-harvest While we do our best to crawl respectfully, obey robots.txt, and break out of any crawler traps before grinding too much bandwidth, if you encounter any issues from us then please get in contact.
