Has anyone else received spam from Microsoft about an XBox service update ? The message claims that I received it as part of my XBox Live subscription, but since I don't have such a subscription, and don't even own an xbox, I think they're telling porkies.

Gidday, has anyone else got connectivity issues through to www.webabse.co.nz ? Connecting from XTRA/Telecom doesn't seem to get past MaxNet but connecting from via APE its fine?? Regards Dan Clark

APNIC Policy SIG Co-Chair

There was a recent announcement on the APNIC sig-policy mailing list seeking candidates for this role. You can see the announcement at: http://mailman.apnic.net/mailing-lists/sig-policy/archive/2009/08/msg00005.… I have submitted a response to this and I'd like to ask for your support if we get to the point where there is an election process. If I get the nod I will buy beer but you'll need to be in Beijing for the APNIC meeting. I'd also encourage you to consider the proposals that are being discussed on the sig-policy list and which will be on the agenda at the Beijing meeting.
