Now, I'll preface this by saying that I'm almost certain it's bovine
excrement. But once you involve politicians, anything's possible.
A friend of a friend (yeah, one of those stories) has raised with him the
suggestion that NZ has some system to petition to have someone permanently
banned from the Internet. This notional petition only requires 50
signatures.
Can anyone confirm such a beast? I imagine there will be peals of
laughter accompanying the reading of this e-mail, and I'll be stunned if
someone says it does actually exist, but there's no harm in asking the
group of people most likely to know.
